I have over 10 years of experience managing people- and planet-positive programs. I am resourceful, empathetic and genuinely energized by problem-solving. I love making things happen and building communities around the work.
My two core strengths are:
Strategic execution: I enjoy turning concepts into clear objectives and breaking them down into actionable tasks. I like to work with data and think several steps ahead to ensure sustainability and find scaling opportunities for greater impact. I have built training ecosystems, launched new initiatives, led cross-sectoral teams, and streamlined organizational operations. I know how to balance high-level perspective while carefully planning each step to achieve the desired results.
Stakeholder engagement & community building: I am genuinely curious about others and can quickly understand what and why something is important to them. Communication is essential to build trust and I can fluently convey complex ideas in English, German, Spanish and French. I have learned how to foster and facilitate relationships with stakeholders in governments, academia, B2B startups, and civil society across Latin America, Africa, Europe and North America. I understand how to identify stakeholder needs and effectively communicate to maintain strong relationships.
I created and scaled EnerTracks at Agora Energiewende, a training ecosystem for young changemakers and leaders from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The program included a competitive six-week fellowship and a two-week study tour with both in-person and online modules, reaching 100+ participants from 26 countries in two years. I managed the full lifecycle of the €2.6M projects: design, implementation, evaluation, budget, team leadership, participant selection, marketing, donor reporting, and scaling.
Beyond the learning modules, I built a lasting alumni network to sustain peer connections and knowledge-sharing after program completion.
What started as a think tank’s training initiative became a thriving community, proving that thoughtful program design combined with strategic community-building creates enduring impact.
As a community organizer for Techstars Startup Weekend in Washington DC, I organized and facilitated three-day immersive entrepreneurship experiences. I managed the full event cycle, from securing sponsors and prizes, recruiting mentors, and guiding diverse participants through ideation, MVP development, and pitch preparation. I coached founders through the iterative process to help them refine ideas, validate assumptions, and pitch to funders by the end of the program. I was particularly focused on the community aspects, connecting entrepreneurs with good mentors.
The result: participants didn’t just learn how to pitch a startup idea but also gained confidence, new networks, and momentum to launch their ventures.
During the Series A fundraising period at Faro Energy, I worked on customer success and helped make the deal flow process more efficient. I managed external consultants, streamlining the business development process and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the teams in Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, and Honduras. This allowed for better tracking for the CEO and easier reporting to investors.
Working with an early stage startup, I wore multiple hats. I also worked as Scrum Master (PSM I certified) and embedded agile methodology to remote teams. Plus, I provided account management support, helping with the identification of USD 2.25M in market opportunities.
The result: streamlined operations, stronger regional partnerships, better investor reporting and a more efficient path to market.

At the World Bank, I served as primary liaison to Mexico’s Ministry of Energy on a USD 5M project. I coordinated across several departments and managed to align competing stakeholder needs through clear communication and expectation setting.
I also served as a bridge between government agencies, and technical teams across 15+ LMICs (Argentina, Burundi, Cameroon, Paraguay, Tanzania, Bolivia, and others). I provided project management support to a portfolio of over USD 950M. I translated requirements into action, kept track on progress, liaised with client and team members, and successfully restructured projects to ensure results delivery. I managed end-to-end from project preparation to completion reporting, ensuring progress, quantifying results, and facilitating knowledge transfer between stakeholders. You can find more details about my energy and climate work on my LinkedIn.
My contribution: understanding what stakeholders need and institutions can offer, then designing and executing programs that deliver results in complex environments.
Using agile methodologies, I design and launch programs from concept to sustainable impact, managing strategy development, stakeholder coordination, curriculum design, budget oversight, and impact reporting.
I support emerging leaders, changemakers and early-stage founders through transformative processes, from ideation through scaling. I combine structured learning with mentorship, peer networks, and real-world problem-solving.
I serve as the trusted point of contact for partners, donors, governments, and program participants. I enjoy working in international teams, ensuring stakeholder needs are understood across departments, facilitating collaboration, and building lasting communities to sustain impact beyond initial participation.
I translate quantitative and qualitative data and feedback into program improvements. I capture outcomes, measure impact, and iterate based on results, ensuring projects evolve with stakeholder needs.
Two things about her stood out: (1) Thoughtful program design. Farah and the team had built a tight, purposeful curriculum on the energy transition that balanced deep dives with hands-on sessions such as the Launchlabs design-thinking workshop. (2) Calm crisis leadership. When COVID-19 forced an abrupt shutdown, Farah handled the chaos with grace—re-routing travel, keeping us fully briefed, and making sure every participant reached home safely. Watching her steer a diverse international group during that crisis was a masterclass in facilitation and empathy.
Farah’s talent for curriculum and program design is exceptional—she breaks down complex topics into modular, structured components that allow participants from diverse backgrounds to engage quickly and meaningfully. Her active listening and communication skills shine through the fellowship period, whether expertly managing time during online and onsite discussions or deftly handling unexpected challenges, such as crisis management during COVID‑19, to ensure a supportive and highly productive learning environment.
Farah’s ability to design and deliver high-impact learning environments for socio-ecological transformation — while engaging a diverse network of changemakers and influencers — speaks to her strengths in partnership building, strategic planning, and leadership. From the recruitment process to the day-to-day facilitation, her thoughtful approach, clear communication, and attention to detail stood out. She created an inclusive, well-structured program that brought together climate professionals from around the world in a truly meaningful way.
She has strong facilitation and leadership capacities, being outstanding in fostering a positive and inclusive working environment. Farah understands the complexity of socio-ecological transformation, and I highly recommend her to any team looking for a designer and facilitator of training programs for changemakers.
Farah went beyond program management —she helped shape our thinking, essential for becoming an effective sustainability professional. Her guidance helped me understand the deeper connection between sustainability and the c-suit strategic decision-making process. She shaped how we think, plan, and act for long-term impact. Her ability to connect the dots between behavior change, economics, and sustainable development is truly inspiring. I’ve seen firsthand how she can manage a diverse program with clarity, empathy, and purpose With her strategic mindset and ability to inspire, she is exceptionally well-suited for influential roles focused on driving sustainable transformation. Her mentorship has left a lasting imprint on our journey.
I come from a multicultural background and can fluently speak and work in English, German, Spanish, and French. I have lived and worked across multiple countries, including in Austria, France, Germany, Niger, Paraguay and the USA. This has shaped how I think about global challenges and human-centered solutions.
My work experiences are rooted in development studies, climate action and just energy transition. I hold a Bachelors from Boston University, a Masters from Sciences Po Paris, and I am completing my PhD at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Research Impact (PIK) in Berlin. Ultimately, I feel most fulfilled when my skills serve something bigger: climate action, sustainable ventures, and poverty alleviation.
I am a connector and implementer at heart, endlessly curious about what brings us together and how we can create planet- and people-positive ventures.
Outside of work, you can find me doing creative writing, deeply immersed in a book, sweating in pilates, or facilitating workshops.
